LEGAL
PRIVACY
POLICY.
This Privacy Policy explains how V1 Group ("V1 Group", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use the Vozinha website and its related services (the "Site"). V1 Group is the controller of the personal information described here.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you choose a password, a securely hashed version of it (we never store your password in readable form). We also keep account security information such as email confirmation status, sign-in attempt counts and, where enabled, two-factor authentication settings. Your account may also include a display name and biography if you provide them.
Sign in with Google
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares with us your basic profile information through the
openid, email and profile scopes: your Google account's unique
identifier, your email address (and whether Google has verified it), and your name and profile picture. We
store only your Google account identifier (to recognise you the next time you sign in) and the email address
used for your account. Other information received from Google is used only to complete the sign-in and is
not stored in our database. We do not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Contacts or any
other Google service data.
On the sign-in, register and Fan Zone pages we may also show Google One Tap, a prompt provided by Google Identity Services. To display it, your browser loads a script from Google, and Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and whether you are signed in to a Google account, under Google's own privacy policy. If you choose to continue with One Tap we receive the same profile information described above. You can dismiss the prompt, and you can still sign in or register without it.
Collaboration inquiries
If you submit a collaboration inquiry we collect your name, email address, what type of organisation you represent, your organisation or brand name, the type of collaboration, and the proposal details you write. Please do not include confidential or sensitive information in an inquiry.
Technical and usage information
Our servers and monitoring tools record technical information about requests to the Site, such as IP address, pages requested, browser and device type, timestamps, performance data and error details. We use this to keep the Site secure, reliable and fast.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, including which pages are viewed and browser, device and session information. Google receives technical information when your browser connects to its analytics service. Our page-view events omit URL query strings and fragments, which can contain account confirmation or password-reset tokens. We do not attach your account email address, account identifier, password or form contents to these events.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
We use the following cookies needed to operate the Site:
- an authentication cookie that keeps you signed in;
- a short-lived cookie used while completing sign-in with an external provider such as Google;
- a security (anti-forgery) cookie that protects forms from cross-site request forgery; and
- a session-affinity cookie set by our hosting platform to route requests reliably.
Google Analytics also uses analytics cookies, such as _ga and _ga_*, to distinguish
browsers and sessions and measure site usage. Analytics loads automatically when you visit the Site,
without an on-site consent prompt. These analytics cookies are not required to sign in or use the Site.
If you use Google sign-in or Google One Tap, Google may set its own cookies and similar technologies on its domains, governed by Google's privacy policy.
We do not enable Google signals or advertising personalization in our analytics integration. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google when a page loads. The Site also stores static files in your browser so that it can show an offline page when you have no connection.
3. How we use information
- to create and secure your account and let you sign in;
- to send account emails such as email confirmation and password reset messages;
- to notify our team by email when someone signs up (the message includes your email address, how you signed up and the time);
- to review and respond to collaboration inquiries;
- to measure page views and understand usage so we can improve the Site;
- to protect the Site against abuse, fraud and security incidents; and
- to operate, maintain and improve the Site.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Google user data
We use information received from Google only to authenticate you and to create and operate your account on this Site. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the Site's functionality, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or sale of our business with notice to you. Humans do not read your Google user data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security purposes or to investigate abuse, or it is required by law.
V1 Group's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can stop Google sign-in at any time by removing the Site from your Google Account's connected apps at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
5. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Site, and only as needed:
- Microsoft Azure, for hosting, database storage and monitoring;
- Twilio SendGrid, for sending account emails;
- Google, for website usage measurement through Google Analytics; and
- Google, Microsoft or Apple, if you choose to sign in with that provider.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, V1 Group or the public.
6. Retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. We keep collaboration inquiries for as long as needed to review and follow up on them. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. You can ask us to delete your account or inquiry data at any time (see "Your choices").
7. Security
We protect personal information using encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring. No online service can be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You can block analytics scripts or cookies using your browser's privacy controls, or use Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from using the Site. For information about Google's handling of data, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to certain uses, or to export your information. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. If changes are significant we will provide additional notice.
